This was almost certainly the real goal: her connections won this race in 2018 with her sister Alpha Centauri and also in 2020 with her half-sister Alpine Star.

Spendarella gets a class test, as she tries Group 1 company for the first time in the Coronation. However, she dazzled in the Appalachian last out. She led, settled back, and kicked on to win impressively.
